CAN WE MEET YOU SIR::

Yes. I'm Samuel Oladokun popularly known as Sam Oscar.
I'm a song writer, composer, music minister and instrumentalist.

WHEN DID YOU START YOUR MUSICAL CAREER?

I have been singing for more than a decade but I started professionally in 2013, and since then God has been helping us.

WHAT IS YOUR NATIONALITY & AND YOUR STATE OF ORIGIN

Nigerian, Born and raised in Nigeria and am from oyo state

TELL US ABOUT YOUR MUSICAL BACKGROUND

I have been a chorister since 6 years old and I have been composing for choir ministrations in churches. So i later discover my musical talents when I ministered a song I composed in an anniversary and people were really blessed. I was so amazed on how people love the song. I continued with the choir until 2013 when I attended Lord's Throne Music Consult in Abeokuta to gain basic musical knowledge. After i finished from the music school, I joined  a gospel music band called Golden Vessel Voices with some group of people. After some time, I began my own band Sam Oscar & His Gospel Voices known today as Sam Oscar Gospel Music Int'l (SOGMI).

WHAT MOTIVATES AND INSPIRED YOU?

    My greatest motivation has been the desire to magnify my Maker and to make people praise Him. I can sacrifice anything to praise my God.
      God is my inspiration, Even when I face challenge and I feel like quitting. Knowing he is my backbone inspires me alot.

WHAT IS YOUR UNIQUE SELLING POINT(USD)?

I sing in my God's way, I listen to God on what he wants me sing before ministration. And more so It depends on the ministration but I specialize in worship and highlife gospel music.

WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN GOSPEL MUSIC INDUSTRY(GMI) IN YEARS TO COME(6year from now)?

By the grace of God, I should have achieved all my heart desires in the music world. My songs would have blessed millions of souls, have an international music institutes and achieve other great things in the ministry.

WHO ARE YOUR MENTORS IN THIS MINISTRY?

I learn from many gospel ministers but my mentor is L/Evang. Bukola Akinade (Senwele Jesu). There are many attributes I cherish in her.

CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT YOUR EDUCATION?

I attended Unique Nursery and Primary School, Ibadan. After which I proceed to Great Royal Int'l Secondary School, Ibadan. I am currently  a graduate of mass communication from Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta.

DO YOU FIND YOURSELF INFLUENCING THE WORLD WITH THIS CHOOSING CAREER / STATE HOW(reason)?

My plan is to go beyond this level. I will influence the world with my music. convert many soul to Christ and there are many music to be released that will bless lives and move people to the kingdom of God.

YOU JUST RELEASED A SINGLE, WHAT CAN YOU SAY ABOUT THE SONG?

WOW! I'm so glad this kind of song came to the world through me and I'm very grateful to God for the song. The inspiration of the song "I GIVE YOU PRAISE"  was a wonder. I just woke up and I got inspired, I took my pen to write the song and immediately, I called my producer. The inspiration of the song and production was between 24 hours.

WHAT HAS BEEN THE REACTION OF PEOPLE SINCE YOU RELEASED THE SONG?

Till today, I'm still amazed I composed the song. People have been commending and appreciating God for the song. Even me, when i listen to the song, I still wonder how I got the lyrics, the rhythm and everything about the song  because it is inspirational.

THIS SONG IS NOT THE FIRST YOU RELEASED, AND I'M SURE YOU STILL HAVE MORE. HOW DO U COMPOSE?

My composition is based on how I'm inspired. I don't force myself to arrange lyrics. When its God's time they come naturally. Even some of my songs I have not released, I hear the songs I write and I will now look for the befitting title.

WHAT SHOULD YOUR FANS AND LOVERS BE EXPECTING FROM YOUR MUSIC MINISTRY?

Ah! This is a great question. We have not started at all. We are loaded with wonders. But I pray God Almighty give us the grace and ability to carry out those wonders.

WHAT WORD WILL YOU SAY TO UPCOMING LIKE YOU?

Never give up, keep pushing your dreams and you will surely get there....
